ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

One Accord Christian School (OACS) was begun in the school year 2000-2001 as a ministry of One Accord Baptist Church to offer support, information, accountability, and encouragement to Christian families who home educate.  OACS is under the authority of the elders and deacons of the church and is supervised by them as well as the administrator.  In addition to the above, OACS also offers graduation ceremony/diplomas, Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) group discount rate, yearly standardized testing (additional fee), and only one mandatory meeting yearly.  The administrator does not organize group activities, field trips, classes, etc., but parents are encouraged to do so and to include other families.

Those considering applying for enrollment in OACS should:

1.  Read What We Believe to see if you are in agreement.

2.  Read our Policies to see if you are willing to abide by them.

4.  Complete and sign all required forms and return to administrator along with enrollment fee and proof of HSLDA membership.

5.  Attend interview conducted by elders and deacons of One Accord Baptist Church.

Enrollment application packets for new families may be obtained on or after June 1, 2011.  The deadline to return enrollment application is July 31, 2011.  Applications are accepted on a first come/first served basis and the number of families accepted is limited.
